Day 14 July 30, 2010 on my way to millions

Today was an exceptional day as finally all the little pieces I had been working on came together beautifully. My new business venture website is now up and running live, the opt-in for my site is now functioning properly, and I have my information guide completed. The only thing left to do is attach the payment button - then start building the products (which are simply a matter of documenting what is already being used since I created these systems).

Dave said I should have all next week to work on this but the reality is with the holiday weekend I will only get 3 days at best - but in 3 days I can create a weeks worth of training modules so it should work out perfectly.

My weight is still the same
My bank account is still the same but my ability to earn more has grown with the website completion.

Today I am grateful for the time I got today to get the website up
Today I am grateful for aweber for making autoresponders so easy to use and impliment
Today I am grateful for moving one step closer to my 1,000 day goals

It was a great day!

Day 13 July 29 - Finally a step forward

After what seemed like endless delays today I am working from home. I have a radio ad to write for my day job business but once that is completed I can start working on my new business venture again. I know it will take time for me to get working on it as I will have to re-read everything again to get myself back into the mindset and flow of the material, but I have some time to do just that today which is encouraging.

My goal today - to create the small pieces that are needed to supplement the information package I am writing. Just 2 should be enough for now and I can always revise later as Bob the Teacher says (TARL - Take Action Revise Later). Today I TARL.

My weight this morning 252.5 - a half pound but certainly in the right direction. Walking is certainly a big component in my ability to loose weight and I am looking forward to my walk this evening after physio with Dave - we have so much to talk about that we never seem to run out... even after 7 years my time with him is just as fresh as the first days we started talking.

Today I am once again grateful for Dave who understands me and loves me in spite of myself.

Today I am grateful for my physio therapist Heather for helping me move forward through this pain so I can once again have a life with physical activities.

Today I am grateful for MaryAnn from my mastermind group, although we haven't talked lately her words still bring me encouragement and comfort. She is truly a blessing and one I am grateful for.

I'm off to be creative now - and I know I will succeed. Not because I am brilliant, but because I know beyond a doubt that I can do it. I have no doubts about my skills and I am in the right headspace to make it happen.

Day 11-12 July 27-28 Long work days

Well I was hoping to have had some time to invest in my new business but I just spent the last 2 days working long hard hours at the office helping to get the accounting up to date for month end.

Dave & I made a promise when we returned from Baltimore that we would set aside time each week for this business venture but as of yet it has now been quite a few days since I have even looked at the plan or worked on any content.

The outline free report is close to being completed but it will take time to add in the additional pages with links that my mastermind team has suggested. I think they have the right idea but like all good ideas they take time to bring from concept to reality. I should have a couple of hours tomorrow to begin working on it again - but at this pace it could take years before it gets launched. So Dave & I have decided that I will take the entire week off next week to focus on this project - which usually means I will get a couple of days to work on it as things never work out as planned.

All that being said it really wasn't a bad two days as I was able to start physio again (although painful I feel this is necessary if I am ever going to regain the use of my left arm). This frozen shoulder makes even simple tasks nearly impossible and has really demoralized me.

July 28 I went with Dave for a leisurely dog walk in the evening after work & dinner (I have not been able to walk much since injuring this shoulder as the sway of movement causes extreme pain). By the time we got back my shoulder was certainly aching but Dave gave me a shoulder/arm massage that actually eliminated the pain for the first time in months. It was such a relief - even if it was short lived.

I also read an article today about how the fat from grass fed red meats actually helps your body loose weight - but like all things they certainly meant in moderation. It is still interesting to read about how all the things they thought were bad for us are actually healthy and the diet pre-packaged foods that are suppose to help loose weight actually inhibit good health do to the over processing. Real foods - living foods (vegetables, fruits, nuts, grains) balanced with natural protein meats (without the growth hormones, grass fed not man made feed fed) are still the best choices. Granny knew best (minus the deep frying).

I am rambling here but after all this is MY journal and thus some days I will want to share more than others. This is for myself to document my journey, my changes in thoughts and attitudes, and to track my progress. That being said if others benefit from the sharing of this journey then this journal will take on more value than just my personal benefit.

My weight remains at 253 unchanged for the last few days - but considering it is a full moon (my cycle runs with the full moon) and I usually gain 2 to 5 pounds at the beginning of the full moon dropping it once my cycle ends the fact that I didn't gain tells me that my body is actually loosing. I look forward to seeing the results over the next few days as the moon wanes.

My bank account will not change until I get this new business launched - so if all goes well by the end of next week I should be able to see some minor changes there that will snow ball into huge changes over time.

Today I am grateful for this wonderful man Dave who fills each day with laughter, passion, tenderness, compassion, friendship, and a deep emotional fulfillment I have never experienced before him. I am truly content and feel loved each day.

Today I am grateful for my dog who inspires me to walk even when I find doing so painful. She needs me to take her out and I can't deny her.

Today I am grateful for my home - I never really had a home that was mine until just the last couple of years. It is good to have a place to go at the end of the day that isn't just a place to park for the night - but a home filled with love and laughter.

Day 10 July 26, 2010 a new week begins

Today I am dragging my butt but once again it has more to do with lack of sleep than anything else.

I have maintained my 7 pound weight loss so far which I am delighted with.

I don't expect to see drastic weight loss quickly because I refuse to deny myself the joys of living - this isn't about radical change - it is about consistent lifestyle moderation changes that lead to a longer healthier life without the higher risks of extreme yo-yo weight loss. I am NOT dieting, I am living a healthier lifestyle that will manifest itself in many ways including weight loss and the ability to do and enjoy more things in life.

This is why I am giving myself 1,000 days for 100 pounds - it means only 1 pound loss every 10 days which is easily achievable through small consistent changes to my daily intake and activity level.

For me the goal is not what I live for, but is a target that I can incorporate into my daily living. The journey takes on more importance as it is the small daily decisions that create success or failure in life. Every decision is an opportunity to choose a better life for myself.

Today I choose to be healthy, today I choose to be happy, today I choose living.

Today I am grateful for this past weekend spent with my daughters
Today I am grateful for my exhausted dog who is happy just sleeping today giving me more uninterrupted focus on my work goals
Today I am grateful for the laughter that Dave adds to each morning

Every day above ground is a great day!

Day 8-9 July 24 & 25

The weekend was spent with my daughters and thus no progress has been made towards my weight & income goal - but that being said my goal to build a stronger more loving relationship with my young adult daughters certainly moved forward in the right direction.

I understand that to live a fulfilling life there must be a balance between the following (in random order as they are all equally important in the bigger scheme of things).
  • family & loved ones
  • social & giving back to the community
  • education & mental challenges
  • health & fitness
  • career & financial
  • religion & spiritual
  • significant other
I am learning to balance - which does not come easily for me.

Day 7 July 23 - Not quite myself today

Today is day 7 - exactly 1 week since I started this 1,000 day journey to health & wealth.

Obviously I am a real person so every day is not going to be perfect and today is a great example of that. My torn rotator cuff/frozen shoulder would not let me sleep last night (for the 3rd night in a row) and the lack of sleep is taking its toll on my energy and drive. I'm living proof that lack of sleep really does compromise ones ability to remain optimistic and energized.

My weight and bank account remain the same today 253 lbs and $221.00

Yesterday I promised to share how I was loosing the weight so quickly. Well one thing to remember is that the more you have to loose the easier those first few pounds are to loose. So with that in mind here is what I have done this week to drop 7 pounds:

Change from table salt to sea salt only
Change from margarine to real butter
Keep all foods in moderation (in reasonable portions)
Eating slower so I get to enjoy the flavor longer

That's it... those small lifestyle changes have already made a big change in my weight in only 7 days and that is with minimal exercise. My shoulder has really cramped my ability to exercise as even walking has become a challenge.

Although I am tired, sore and my energy is low - I know that "this too shall pass" as my Granny use to say. I will get through my day today.

Today I am grateful for being able to get out of bed even though I had very little sleep
Today I am grateful for my Granny's words that bring me comfort on many levels
Today I am grateful that it is Friday!

Day 6 July 22, 2010 Starting on project

Today is Day 6 of my thousand day journey.

Weight 253 (only 93 pounds & 994 days to go)
Bank $221.00 ($20 richer - only $999,779.00 & 994 days to go)

I would like to share something I read on my trip last weekend to the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore Maryland. It was actually a famous quote only taken two steps further (no pun intended).

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step (Lao Tzu)

What people forget is a journey to nowhere starts with a single step too
(Chuck Palahniuk)

All paths are the same leading nowhere, therefore pick a path with heart (Carlos Castaneda)

I had already had the dream of 1000 days before I saw these quotes painted on the wall and it was like fate confirming my dream but taking it to a new perspective. For me it brought clarity of focus.

I have always had the ability to choose for myself what I wanted out of life and I understood that each choice (or step) I take is one made of conscious decision - I could choose success simply by choosing the most effective step with each decision - my problem was I didn't believe I deserved a great life so I settled for less.

It took a very special mastermind group to bring this self hurdle to my awareness.

I don't have to settle in life, I can choose to actively make choices each day that lead me to the life I have always dreamed of. But the end goal isn't the only reward - each time I actively "choose" to do something that is good for me I take one more step towards really living life without limits. I get the instant gratification of knowing I MADE this choice, I took this step - I win each and every day.

Each day I share three things I am grateful for - today I am grateful for more...

Today I am grateful for my mastermind team:

I am grateful for Bob Jenkins (Bob the teacher) who's fast track program made this mastermind team possible. He is an amazing teacher with a giving heart who lives to see his students achieve their true potential. Thank you Bob http://SIMPLE10k.com

I am grateful for MaryAnn D'Ambrosio who is my personal calmness & clarity coach. She see's into the soul and brings out my best on so many levels. Thank you MaryAnn http://www.LeadOutLoudNow.com

I am grateful for D'vorah Lansky who's endless energy, vitality and curiosity has led her to become the authority on relationship marketing - in fact they call her the relationship marketing wizard because her ability to connect people is magical. She really cares about people and shares all that she is openly with me & the world. Thank you D'vorah www.ConnectCommunicateProfit.com

I am grateful for Bob Lampard who is an amazing story teller with a witty insight into what makes personal relationships work. I can't wait to read his book "I am not a dog and other stories by Bob Lampard" and appreciate all the laughter and fun he brings to the group. Thank you Bob www.LaughingYourWayToLove.com

I am grateful for my mastermind team members who were unable to attend our get together in Maryland last weekend:

I am grateful for Bruce Brown & Marge Brown for their amazing ability to find the passion in people and the ease they have at turning strangers into friends. Thank you for sharing your techniques for successful networking. I missed you both and can't wait to see you again.
www.quantumresultscoaching.com

I am grateful for
Erica Cosminsky who really supports ideas and knows how to take those ideas and turn them into products. But even more so for sharing your wealth of knowledge so freely with the group. It's like getting my own private business coach who I am grateful to call a friend. My heart goes out to you for a quick recovery. http://TheSmallBusinessTranscriptionist.com

And last but certainly not least I am grateful for the most wonderful man in the world Dave Francis who is not only my business partner but my life partner. Thank you for filling my life with laughter, passion and endless possibilities. You are all that I could ever ask for and more. Your sharp business sense really balances out my creative marketing side giving us together the best of both worlds. You are my best friend who I love dearly. www.YourPlumbingSuccess.com

Every day above ground is a great day!

Tomorrow I share what steps I am taking towards achieving my goals & dreams.

Day 5 July 21 - going strong

Well today is day 5 (995 days to go) and my energy although low (I'm still tired from the drive from Maryland back to Canada 2 days ago) my spirits are good.

My progress:
Weight 254 (down 6 pounds - 94 to go)
Bank account - no change ($201 - $999,799 to go)

I am back in the office today plugging away at the backed up paperwork and details so no time to spend on my primary project once again. I do however plan on taking tomorrow off so I can work from home on the project that will be the financial foundation of my goal. I am really looking forward to sharing my business & internet marketing skills with others so that they too can succeed in business.

Today I am grateful for stable income that provides for me so I can work on other things
Today I am grateful for my ability to learn - I am certainly putting that skill to work hard
Today I am grateful for my dog who fills my mornings with laughter & affection

Every day above ground is a great day!

Day 3 July 19, 2010

Today was spent driving from Maryland back to Ottawa Ontario Canada and thus much time for reflection. My dreams are achievable - my goals can be reached in the time I set - my heart and mind set on this path.

My weight upon arriving home: 258 (down 2 pounds from July 17)
My special bank account - no change yet

I am greatful for this opportunity to move my life in the direction I desire
I am greatful for the special mentors and friends in my mastermind group
I am greatful for the love and support of the man in my life

Day 2 - July 18, 2010

Today was spent with my mastermind team in Ellicott City Maryland as we finalized our goals and prepared to launch our personal and business plans.

Since I do not have access to a scale I cannot post on my weight progress & no work has been done towards my million dollar goal as of yet - but I can say I am exceptionally wealthier spiritually due to the amazing people in my mastermind group.

A special thanks to Bob Jenkins (Bob the teacher) our mentor and leader and my amazing team: D'vorah Lansky (the relationship marketing wizard and author of Connect Communicate and Profit), MaryAnn D'Ambrosio (lead out loud NOW transformational life coach & energy healer), Bob Lampard (laughing your way to love and author of "I am not a dog and other stories by Bob Lampard), and our team mates who could not be present for the live event Bruce & Marge Brown (being Bruce Brown and author of Passions Lead to Profit), and Erica Cosminsky (of how to run virtual teams and virtual assistants).

What an amazing weekend - I cannot thank you all enough!

Kay Kinder
1,000 days to health and wealth

My journey starts today - July 17, 2010 - my goal:
1,000 days
100 pounds
1 million dollars

What this means is that in 1,000 days I will have lost 100 pounds and will have 1 million dollars in my personal savings account for helping others.

I know the weight loss will be challenging but it is reasonable and I know it is something I can and will achieve with simple lifestyle changes and daily commitment.

The million dollars may seem like an impossible goal to many but for a professional internet marketer it is not only possible it is a modest goal (provided you have the right product, the right marketing, and the right customers with exceptional support for those products).
I have been doing internet marketing for the last 15 years and have made millions for other companies - it's time to put some of that wealth back into my own pocket so I can help others.

So today - July 17, 2010 - I start my journey.

My new savings account sits at $200.00 (what I put in to open the account)
My weight today is 260 pounds

I look forward to sharing this journey with others who may also find inspiration to take an active role in their future - we can make a difference in the world and I plan on having the energy and financial resources for helping others.
